Chile continues to cross borders with the 8 national productions screened at BAFICI; two of these got awards!

Chilean cinema continued its journey through Trento, Chicago, Seattle, Philadelphia, Jenjou and Lisbon and is preparing its next stops: Cannes and Guadalajara.

 

  • Trento Film Festival: Under the sky shelter, by Diego Acosta, and Gaucho Americano by Nicolás Molina.
  • Chicago: Zahori directed by Marí Alessandrini and co-produced by Cinestación, The cow that sang a song into the future by Francisca Alegría, La mirada incendiada by Tatiana Gaviola, 130 Children by Ainara Aparici, Immersion by Nicolás Postiglione and The Bones by León & Cociña.
  • Seattle: Roberto Doveris’ Phantom Project.

 

 

  • Philadelphia Film Festival: Omar Zúñiga’ The Strong Ones, 130 Children by Ainara Aparici, Dorien Fernández’s Pampa and La primera by xxx.
  • Jenjou Film Festival: León & Cociña screen The Bones and José Luis Torres Leiva’ Death will come and shall have your eyes. In addition, his developing film Clouds Hide in the Shadows wins pitch at Jenjou Cinema Project
  • Indielisboa: Phantom Project
