Chile arrives once more to MIPCANCUN! the annual meeting of the largest Spanish-speaking television market in Latin America and the US that will take place from 13 to 16 November.
With its 1 to 1 meeting format, MIPCANCUN has become the most efficient and convenient way for television industry professionals to meet and do business.

17FILMS, Dinogorila Creative Lab, Fabula, Invercine, LUNES, Geckoanimacion, Parox, Río Animación and Wings Films are the 9 production companies that will land in Cancun (Mexico) looking for buyers, coproducers, sales agents, distribution and financing. The Chilean platform Rivii, an AVOD streaming platform with 100% Latin American content in the categories of movies, series and soap operas available for viewing in Chile, Peru and Colombia, will also be present at this edition.
Among the 9 production companies, the six Chilean delegates who will attend the market supported by the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage stand out.
The Undersecretary of Cultures and the Arts, Andrea Gutiérrez Vásquez, comments “The participation of representatives of the national audiovisual industry in MIPCANCUN is a unique opportunity to connect with the largest network of TV content in the world, opening spaces for the visibility and materialization of business agreements that allow to promote and execute local projects and ideas”
The national presence will also be supported onsite by CinemaChile, coordinating meetings to forge new alliances, in addition to the promising participation in one of the MIP Cancun Talks COUNTRIES OF FOCUS : COLOMBIA AND CHILE, where Ashley Salman (International CinemaChile producer) and Macarena Cardone (Apct, Invercine) will talk about national initiatives and talent to encourage productions in the country.
Raúl Vilches, Head of the ProChile Sub-Department of Creative Economies, comments on the relevance of being at this meeting “MIPCANCUN, responds to the need to expand the markets for participation of Chilean projects in international circuits. With this type of intervention we increase the possibilities of finding co-producers, sales agents or financiers of our audiovisual projects in their different formats , along with promoting our country and industry image through the public private work we carry out with CinemaChile”.
Fiction project by the production company 17 Films, of the adventure genre, is in the post-production stage and goes to the market in search of international distribution.
Synopsis: Made in live action, Microterrícolas invites us to enjoy the adventures of the snail Eli and all her friends in the bugs neighborhood.
Animated series, from the Dinogorila Creative Lab company, is in script writing for its second season.
Synopsis: Nina lives in a generic city with her not-so-generic family: Vaca, Nico, Mauf and her uncle Dr C. Together they will experience adventures ranging from alien cats to multiverse travel and many other crazy things
Comedy adventure by the production company Lunes arrives at the market in search of co-production.
Synopsis: Raffi & Ema are soul mates and inseparable friends. They live in a farm in the center of the city, and they try to be the best farmers of the universe
Adventure animation by Geckoanimacion comes to find distribution.
Synopsis: Mateo, an insecure astronaut dog, is sent on a mission to Mars. A detour will change the course of the journey and he must rely on his potential to face challenges and discover what and who is behind the mysterious speed of his ship.
Parox arrives with this LGBTQI+ Drama that wants to find coproductions and platforms.
Synopsis: In the 50s, Alba experiences a forbidden attraction to Zahira, the daughter of a drug-trafficking clan. Her link to the drug business and the persecution of homosexuality will endanger her life.
Fictional thriller is Rio Estudios main bet, in the development stage and hopes to establish connections for co-production.
Synopsis: An alleged political kidnapping in Patagonia uncovers several previous disappearances in the area. A local legend says these people are found on an island inhabited by beings from another world.
The production company Wings Films takes this non-fiction and adventure series project to present it to platforms.
Synopsis: A man turns his life around to learn to fly. Travel the world exploring stories of daring and wonder, pilots and living legends. Series about aviation and dreams that come true.
