Dozens of Chileans landed at the 74th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival. A total of four world premieres and 18 production houses participated in the event, which resulted in two awards for productions with Chilean professionals: Through Rocks and Clouds, a co-production between Chile and Peru, won the special mention in Generation Kplus and Memorias de un cuerpo que arde, with Amparo Baeza as Art Director, won the Audience Award in Panorama.

Chileans begin to gather at Martin Gropius Bau , the epicenter that hosts the great stand of Chile in this new edition. During the second day of the market and festival, meetings and encounters were held that began to ignite the atmosphere for the coming days of Chilean premieres.

The third day of the Chilean delegation was marked by important meetings and important events such as the Co-production meeting with the Film Commission of Poland, attended by about 5 film institutes from Europe and Latin America, which aims to establish and strengthen ties of co-production and financing among its professionals.

The Chilean delegation spent Monday in Berlin. Four world premieres were experienced during this February 19 at the Berlinale, an intense day full of applause, emotions and joy, and you can see how the international audience received them here!
The Chilean premieres in Berlin have been a success. On the sixth day, “La piel en primavera”, a co-production between Chile and Colombia, ended the day of premieres in Berlin with a completely full house.
