We finished the year strong! Chile lands with an outstanding presence in Ventana Sur, the last market of this 2022 and one of the most successful Latin American networking events in the region, which will take place from November 28 to December 2.
The new edition will resume the onsite presence and will bring together more than 45 production houses -including 6 producers supported by the Ministry of Arts, Cultures and Heritage- who will be looking for partnerships to achieve development, Completion and sales of the projects they carry in their portfolio.
In addition to this large participation in 15 official market sections, 20 Chilean projects will be participating alongside production companies such as: Ceibita Films, hu+mano productions, Las Minas, Merken Studios, Gigante Azul Producciones, Rodamiento Producciones, Wood Producciones, Bússola Films, Todos los ríos, Surreal Films, Cábala Studio, Acariño Films, Tirol Ltda. Dos Be, Funky Films and Galgo Storytelling, among others.
CinemaChile will have an onsite booth at the UCA and will hold a promising agenda of meetings with leading members of the international industry to further enhance international connections. In addition to a digital guide for all attendees to know in detail all the participation and activities of Chile during Ventana Sur 2022.

As we already told you, Chile’s participation in Ventana Sur will be massive, different production companies will have delegates onsite supported by the Ministry of Arts, Cultures and Heritage through its Support Program for Participation in International Markets.
They will be representing their companies and will seek to promote on this occasion the new works of producers such as : Pajareza Films with Maximiliano Scheleff – Geckoanimacion with César Cabezas – Kiltropo Animation with Diego García – Estudio Morrón with Constanza Miranda – Gigante Azul Producciones with Paulina Sanhueza and Mesa Redonda Studio with Francisco Greene.

CinemaChile -a sectoral brand created by ProChile and APCT- crosses the mountain range and returns in 100% face-to-face mode after three years of online and hybrid participation. Annika Madrid (General Coordinator), Carolina Acevedo (National Producer) and Camila Fierro (National Press Officer) will participate in this comeback .

They will be carrying out a considerable agenda of meetings and events to promote co-productions with Chile, presenting the film catalogs and series, in addition to the exclusive digital guide of Ventana Sur.
During the previous versions Chile has had a progressive and constant participation in Argentina. In this 14th edition of Ventana Sur, organized by the Marché du Film and INCAA of Argentina, Chile will also have an onsite stand to expand the networks of more than 40 production houses that will be present in the market.
