FERNANDO GUZZONI PREMIERES IN ORIZZONTI

After premiering Dog Meat (Kutxa Nuevos Directores Award, San Sebastián Festival 2012)  and Jesús (Toronto International Film Festival, 2016)  The third feature by outstanding director Fernando Guzzoni has generated many expectations and reactions for being the only Chilean film to participate in the official selection in Venice 2022.

“We are proud that they liked the film, the process of selecting it was very fast and that is not very usual. We believe it is a very suitable place for the message of the film to start socializing”

Produced by Giancarlo Nasi and in co-production with Mexico, Luxembourg, France and Poland, the film brings together as part of its troupe a large cast consisting of Laura López, Amparo Noguera and Alejandro Goic in the lead roles.

Guzzoni’s new proposal is inspired by a Chilean case of a child prostitution network, led by a powerful businessman. The film is a passage to the darkest part of society and will seek to delve into those loopholes and omissions that occur around the world.
