“This is how the expansive, open, democratic and participative spirit becomes a reality for this format of unlimited space and time” explains Bernabé Demozzi, the gathering director. He states, “at LABEX, we believe that it’s fundamental to continue stimulating filmmakers as well as accompanying other spaces that are interested in exploring this area, to complement and contribute action and foster any area that needs it”. The programmer who also works for FicViña and FICG DocuLab, shares that for him LABEX central axis is the completion of objectives and constant work. At LABEX we need to generate changes continuously, the territory, date or time does not matter. That is why for this year we set a bigger challenge for ourselves, which is to strengthen alliances, widen possibilities and contexts to generate those variables, new formats and viewpoints. We want to make this film gathering grow, everything we have achieved is not by chance or an illusion, it’s willingness and the conviction needed to create and move forward”, he concludes
