Pablo Larraín

Director, screenwriter, and producer nominated to the Oscars for his film No in the category of Best Foreign Film, and winner of a Silver Bear at the Berlinale for The Club, which, after having received more than twenty international awards, was nominated to the Golden Globes in the same category.

He studied Audiovisual Communication at the University UNIACC. He founded the production house Fábula, with which he directed his first feature film, Fuga, in 2006. He also wrote and directed the films Tony Manero in 2008, Post Mortem in 2010, No in 2012, and The Club in 2015. This year he premiered Neruda, a Chilean film about the Nobel poet, in the Cannes Film Festival and Jackie, an American bio-pic about Jackie Kennedy, played by Natalie PortmanIn the International Film Festival of Venice where it won the award of Best Screenplay.

He is credited as producer in the films La Vida Me Mata in 2007, Brokes and Ulysses in 2010, The Year of the Tiger in 2011, Young & Wild and No in 2012, Gloria, Crystal Fairy and the Magic Cactus, Barrio Universitario, and The Quispe Girls in 2013, and Heroes in 2014.
